Harlsan welcomes new management

But they’re by no means new faces.

If you’ve done business with Harlsan during the last 15 years, then you would have dealt with Matt Bevan. Matt started his journey with Harlsan as a Trades Assistant before moving into purchasing, drafting, despatch and internal sales, before becoming Operations Manager in 2012. In July, Matt and his family made the move to Perth so he could take the reins as General Manager. His favourite aspect of working at Harlsan is “Following the journey of projects from the inception of an idea to completion, whether it’s manufacturing equipment for our customers or working on continuous improvement within the organisation.” Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, playing music, oil painting, and has recently picked up martial arts.

With Matt moving down to Perth, it left some big boots to fill in Kalgoorlie. After 4 years as Operations and Despatch Controller, Cameron Schoppe has taken on the challenge of Operations and Despatch Manager headfirst. “I’m learning how to adapt and think outside the box to find the right solution and I am thankful for the patience our great customers have had during the transition”, he said of his new position. When he’s not overseeing Harlsan’s operations, Cam can be found working on his athletics brand “Cade Ruell”, renovating his house, or spending time with friends and family.
